We’re Enamored With…

March 13th 2015

With the social and digital landscape changing daily, we polled our team on some of their new favorites, old favorites, and predicted favorites in the digital space. Here are the highlights:

March Madness! And, SnapChat’s Our Story plans for covering the live action of the games adds even more fuel to our fire, and has us thinking the “One Shining Moment” montage might look like last week’s news.

How many times we can watch Owen and Ben work the runway for the brilliant announcement of the Zoolander sequel. It’s especially great from Jerome Jarre’s vantage point.

Taking our e-reading and multi-tasking to the next level with InkCase‘s new must-have second screen phone case.

The thought of penciling in a cross-country road trip to cash in on what the latest peer-to-peer service, Roadie, has cooked up with their Waffle House partnership. Our continued – and varied – obsessions with Yik Yak, Lumosity, LinkedIn Connected, Poshmark, Nike Training, ChefsFeed and Mint. And, still exploring apps like Resy and Cover, which are changing how diners interact with restaurants from scoring a last minute reservation to being able to easily split a check five ways.

Getting excited to see how brands take advantage of Instagram’s carousel ad feature.

Summer on the horizon! And all-things-surfing that come with it, including Surfing Magazine’s Instagram revamp, the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast finals and the start of another pro season. This year’s rookies are coming in hot!

Hoping you’ll join us at all of the happenings in our backyard, including Governor’s Ball and so many great exhibits, like The Met’s Charles James: Beyond Fashion, Bjork at the MoMA and Mad Men at the Museum of the Moving Image.

Speaking of Don and Peggy, the Mfa foodies are hoping for the return of the three martini lunch during Mad Men Dining Week and then will celebrate the extreme talent of women in the culinary world at Cherry Bombe’s second annual Jubilee on March 29.

And, our guilty pleasures, like the upcoming Rihanna album and Pitch Perfect 2 releases, TV finales and the start of the summer season (we’re looking at you, HTGAWM and “Game of Thrones”). E!’s “Royals” also piqued our interest when they created Tinder profiles for their characters. We might even reward the interesting promotion with a tune-in.

Waiting for the latest round of Mfa offspring to get old enough to start programming with some help from different kiddy coder resources like Kodable.
